Here at Smoky Mountain Paintball, your safety is our number one concern. In order to enjoy your paintball experience, and return to play again, you must enjoy the sport and play safely.
1. You must obey the referees at all times. Regardless of what you think, the referee is always right.
2. Wear your protective gear at all times. You may only remove your goggles in "Non-Game" areas or if a referee instructs you to. The only time you will be allowed to remove your mask on the field is when the referee confirms that all markers have a barrel plug installed and the safeties have been engaged. If you remove your safety equipment during a game, you will be removed from the field WITHOUT refund..
3. To avoid being overshot, you must call yourself out by yelling "Hit!" as loud as you can, placing your hands above your head and leaving the field immediately. If called out by a referee, place your hands on your head and walk silently off the field. Eliminated players MUST be allowed to quickly leave the field so excessive overshooting will result in your own elimination.
4. If you manage to get within 10 to 15 feet of an opponent, you must offer them a chance to "surrender." If they refuse to surrender or turn to attack you, fire only once, Bunkering will not be tolerated.
5. If a paintball hits you and breaks, leaving a mark the size of a quarter, then you are out. If the paintball hits you and doesn't break, but causes you to react audibly (like yelling "ouch!") then you are out. If the shot bounces and doesn't break or you don't feel it, you may continue to play though a referee can call you out if you are indeed hit.
6. Cheaters and poor sports will not be tolerated. We play a recreational game and expect your best behavior and sportsmanship. The object is to have fun, not determine a champion. Anyone not living up to this rule can and will be asked to leave.
7. We are open to most any game you would like to play and the rules will be announced by the ref's before each game.
8. If you have problem of any kind just yell paint check and a ref will call you neutral and come to your aid, when your problem is fixed you will be called back into the game. (be ready the guy in orange just showed everyone where your hiding)

10. NO OFF FIELD PAINT WILL BE ALLOWED (effective 1/1/10). We do offer paint starting @ $20 for 1000 or $34.99 for case of 2000.
